Goring Heath Parish Council represents the residents of Goring Heath parish.  It manages a modest part of the Council Tax paid by the residents, using it to maintain community resources and the immediate environment of the parish. 

We maintain items such as the village green, road and footpath verges, bus shelters, the well etc.  We view all new planning applications and are asked to comment. 

We don't manage some items that have a big impact on the parish, such as roads, speed limits or planning decisions - these being dealt with by other authorities.  However, those authorities often ask for our view on these matters where they directly affect the parish.
