Woodcote Library

The Victorian school building provides a light and roomy space for the modern library, a branch of Oxfordshire libraries. It was set up in 1991 jointly with Langtree School to serve the students and the community, with shared resources.

Through the Library Computer, visitors can now also access the Internet to send emails or surf the Net.

Mobile Library

Following a comprehensive review of the Mobile Library Service and the reduction of the fleet by one vehicle, we have taken the opportunity to plan and implement more efficient routes for our mobile libraries. We shall continue to provide services to meet demand by re-routing the vehicles and. introducing revised timetables as efficiently as possible. No community which requires a mobile library has lost its service, but times and days may have changed.

From the week beginning 12th June the Mobile Library will be visiting Goring Heath fortnightly as follows:

Tuesdays Alms Houses 1.40. - 1 .55.

We shall, of course, be notifying all our readers of this change, and providing both leaflets and posters to advertise the new stopping times.

If you would like to discuss these changes further, please contact the Mobile Library Services Manager, Ken Saberi, on 01865 810209, or email him at ken.saberi@oxfordshire.gov.uk
